Our expanded volunteer team holds exciting possibilities for anyone wanting to give back to the community.

The mission for “Volunteers That Care” is to act as an ambassador to the visitors, residents and employees at Laurie Care Center and The Knolls. To create a positive first impression to all we meet, assist where needed and put a smile on everyone’s face. To remember that we are judged by our performance and we really can make a difference. Volunteering makes you feel good and can be the best “job” you’ve ever had.

There are many ways to volunteer at our facility. We answer the phone at the front desk, visit with the residents, help with activities such as bingo and special events and much more. There are extra areas to choose from such as bake sales, mailings, and fund raisings.
