The Good Shepherd Nursing Home District (GSNHD) is a community owned, community operated and community driven organization. We have created two beautiful locations both offering Residential Care, Sub-acute Care and Skilled Nursing. Good Shepherd Nursing Home District was formed in March of 1968.
Two locations – Four communities
Versailles, MO
Good Shepherd Care Center and The Kidwell are dedicated to providing quality of life to our community while looking forward to changes and growth in Long Term Care for the Lake and surrounding areas.
Our goal is to provide health care services in a home like atmosphere that enhances your lifestyle today and meets your needs tomorrow.
Our dedicated staff and high standards ensure that our residents live with dignity and respect in attractive and comfortable surroundings.
Laurie, MO
The Knolls and Laurie Care Center are the best kept secret in Mid-Missouri, and truly a community within a community.
Just a few of our features include not one, but two outdoor courtyards, an activity center, a coffee bistro and a “soda shop” provided at no charge to the residents and community of Laurie.
Centrally located, the Laurie Care Center is only a few hours’ drive from Missouri’s major cities: Saint Louis, Kansas City, Columbia and Branson. Nestled closely to the largest man-made lake in Missouri, the Lake of the Ozarks, the local attractions abound and are enjoyed by our residents as well.
